IT expert: Bogus e-mail warn of Terror Attack

Several security firms are warning of bogus e-mails that report a terrorist attack.

According to vnunet.com, the spam messages have heading like "why did it happen in your city?" and "Bomb killed 18 citizens". The hyper link targeted to downloadable executable file on the target system.

What makes this attack different than your run-of-the-mill spam is the use of geolocation services that insert the user's city of origin into the article in an attempt to increase the chances the user will click.
